According to the "Australian Dictionary of Biography", the Wormald brothers, Henry Percy and Joseph Dawson, established their company in 1900. Metal windows were first manufactured in 1913 but it wasn't until 1920 that the company expanded to open works in Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth. This item is undated, however, as its title page mentions works in Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth it must have been published after 1920. The last three digits of the code on the back cover of the item most likely refer to the date (i.e. January 1924) so a publication year of 1924 has been assumed. Information regarding the Wormald brothers was viewed at the website of the Australian Dictionary of Biography at: https://adb.anu.edu.au/biography/wormald-henry-percy-9293 on 14/10/2021.
